Hmm this is an interesting album. It's not really my cup of tea barring a couple of songs overall, Living on the Edge being the main one. It's a very orchestrated album and seems to be a mysterious concept album of sorts.
I actually like the way JO sings on this release, but the songs don't seem very catchy to me bar those couple that I mentioned. I actually think this is a very emotional album and the story seems quite dark. I think late era Sava fans will love this release especially if you like albums like Dead Winter Dead. I am more of an early Sava fan the HOTMK era and this album merely hints at that style in a couple of songs. In the end this album is not going to excite me that much but that doesn't mean it's not a a great effort from the "mountain king" and co.
