It's a Motley Crue disc. How much of an impact could possibly make, creative or otherwise? Has that ever been the Crue's M.O. anyway? Highly doubtful. Having said all that, it's probably the release that sounds most like it should have followed Dr. Feelgood, making it a much more enjoyable effort than everything they did post-1990, with the exception of the s/t release with John Corabi. That's my favorite Crue disc after Shout At The Devil. But Saints is a worthy listen for most Crue fans and if you can score one used or at a decent discount, I'd say go for it.
